Ameriglo GL-806 Tall Glock Night Sights: Suppressor Height Tritium Sights
The Ameriglo GL-806 Tall Glock Night Sights are high-performance tritium night sights specifically engineered for Glock pistols. This model features a tall suppressor height profile and a distinctive Green/Black/Green configuration — a bright green tritium front sight paired with black rear sights that contain green tritium vials. This design offers a clean, modern look with excellent low-light visibility while reducing visual clutter compared to traditional white outline rear sights.
Ameriglo is widely recognized for producing some of the most durable and reliable tritium night sights on the market. The GL-806 model is particularly popular among shooters who run red dot optics or plan to suppress their Glock, as the taller sight profile allows for proper co-witness while maintaining a sleek, tactical appearance.
Key Features of the Ameriglo GL-806 Tall Glock Night Sights
Tall Suppressor Height Design
Engineered with a taller sight profile, making these sights ideal for use with red dot optics and suppressed firearms while maintaining proper co-witness.
Green Tritium Front Sight
The bright green tritium front sight provides excellent visibility and fast target acquisition in low-light and no-light environments.
Black Rear with Green Tritium
The blackout-style rear sights feature green tritium vials, offering a clean, modern look with reduced glare and excellent contrast against the front sight.
Why Shooters Choose the Ameriglo GL-806 Glock Sights
The Ameriglo GL-806 is a favorite among Glock owners who prefer a more streamlined rear sight appearance. Unlike sights with white outlines, the black rear with green tritium creates a less busy sight picture while still providing the benefits of self-illuminating tritium. This configuration is especially popular with competitive shooters and those who run optics, as it reduces visual distraction while maintaining excellent low-light performance. The tall suppressor height makes these sights highly versatile for both optics-ready Glocks and suppressed setups.
Additional benefits include:
- Self-illuminating tritium that requires no batteries or charging
- Clean blackout rear sight design for reduced glare
- Excellent compatibility with red dot optics for co-witness
- Designed specifically for Glock pistols
- Durable steel construction built to withstand heavy use
- Long tritium lifespan of up to 12 years
- Superior performance in low-light and nighttime conditions

Ideal Applications for the Ameriglo GL-806 Tall Glock Sights
The Ameriglo GL-806 is an excellent choice for Glock owners who want tall tritium night sights with a clean, modern appearance. These sights are particularly popular among shooters who have installed or plan to install a red dot optic, as the taller profile allows for a lower 1/3 co-witness or absolute co-witness. They are also ideal for those running suppressed pistols, where standard height sights may be obstructed by the suppressor. The blackout rear sight design appeals to shooters who prefer a less cluttered sight picture while still benefiting from tritium illumination. Many competitive shooters, law enforcement professionals, and serious concealed carry permit holders choose the GL-806 for its balance of performance, durability, and aesthetics.
These sights are compatible with a wide range of Glock models, including the Glock 17, 19, 26, 34, 45, 47, and other models that accept standard Glock sight cuts.
