The APEX AMMO NINJA28 28 Gauge 2.75" 1-1/2 oz #8.5 Shot is a high-performance 28 gauge shotshell designed for upland bird hunting, skeet shooting, and small game. This premium load features a heavy 1-1/2 ounce payload of #8.5 shot in a 2.75-inch shell, delivering exceptional pattern density and consistent performance. Manufactured by Apex Ammo, the NINJA28 combines quality components with optimized ballistics to give shooters reliable results with the light recoil that makes the 28 gauge so popular.
Why Choose APEX AMMO NINJA28 28 Gauge Ammunition?
The APEX AMMO NINJA28 stands out as one of the most effective factory loads available in 28 gauge. The 28 gauge is favored by many hunters and sport shooters for its light recoil, making it an excellent choice for youth shooters, women, and anyone sensitive to heavier recoil. The NINJA28 takes this advantage further by loading a full 1-1/2 ounces of #8.5 shot — a heavy payload for the 28 gauge that provides outstanding pattern density. The #8.5 shot size is ideal for dove, quail, woodcock, and other upland birds, as well as for skeet and sporting clays. Apex Ammo uses premium powder, reliable primers, and precision wads to ensure consistent velocities and tight patterns, giving hunters and clay shooters the performance they need in the field or on the range.

Performance and Ballistics
The APEX AMMO NINJA28 is engineered to maximize the effectiveness of the 28 gauge platform. The 1-1/2 ounce payload of #8.5 shot provides a high pellet count, resulting in dense patterns that are highly effective on fast-flying birds and clay targets. The #8.5 shot size offers an excellent balance between pattern density and sufficient energy for clean kills on small game and upland birds.
This load is particularly well-suited for dove hunting, quail hunting, and skeet shooting. The light recoil of the 28 gauge combined with the heavy payload allows shooters to maintain accuracy and comfort during long days in the field or at the range. The NINJA28 performs reliably in both over/under and semi-automatic 28 gauge shotguns. Hunters and sport shooters appreciate the consistent velocities and clean-burning powder that help maintain clear sight pictures between shots. Whether you’re pursuing doves at first light or breaking clays on a sporting course, the APEX NINJA28 delivers dependable performance with every pull of the trigger.
