The 5.25-inch Picatinny rail section is centered over the bore axis and designed to work with the iron/peep sight. It is completely compatible with hinged AK dust covers as well. The rail section and mount body are machined from aluminum alloy along with steel locking mechanism parts. Weighs just 7.7 ounces and does not add a lot of weight and bulk to your firearm.
