Illuminated MIL Reticle
The ARES BTR GEN2J is equipped with an illuminated MIL-based Christmas tree reticle located in the second focal plane. This reticle features a floating center dot along with a comprehensive grid of hash marks that provide rapid holdovers and windage corrections at various distances. The illumination offers multiple brightness settings, ensuring excellent visibility in low-light conditions while remaining crisp during bright daylight. The second focal plane design keeps the reticle size constant throughout the magnification range, making it easier to use at lower magnifications while still providing detailed aiming points when zoomed in for long-range shots.
Premium HD Optical Performance
The Athlon ARES BTR GEN2J utilizes high-definition (HD) glass that delivers outstanding resolution, color fidelity, and edge-to-edge clarity. Athlon’s advanced Fully Multi-Coated lenses maximize light transmission while minimizing glare and reflections. The 50mm objective lens provides excellent light-gathering capability, producing bright, sharp images even during dawn, dusk, and other low-light conditions. Combined with the 6x zoom range, this scope offers versatility for both close to medium-range engagements and precise long-distance shooting.
