Center-X SFP MOA Reticle
The Center-X reticle is a practical and user-friendly second focal plane MOA reticle designed specifically for hunting. It features a simple crosshair with MOA-based hash marks that allow for precise holdovers and windage corrections at various distances. Because the reticle is located in the second focal plane, it remains a consistent size throughout the magnification range, making it easy to use at lower powers for close-range shots while still providing useful aiming points when zoomed in. The Center-X reticle offers a clean sight picture that helps hunters acquire targets quickly without unnecessary clutter.
Optical Performance
The Athlon Neos HMR 4-12x40 utilizes fully multi-coated lenses that deliver bright, clear images with good color contrast. The 4-12x magnification range is highly versatile, offering a wide field of view at 4x for close to medium-range shots and up to 12x magnification for precise shots at longer distances. The 40mm objective lens provides a solid balance between light transmission and a compact, lightweight profile, making this scope easy to carry during long days in the field.
