Illuminated BDC500 SFP MOA Reticle
The BDC500 is a practical bullet drop compensating reticle located in the second focal plane with red illumination. It features a clean crosshair with hash marks calibrated for common hunting distances out to 500 yards. The illuminated portion of the reticle offers multiple brightness settings, allowing hunters to maintain a clear aiming point in low-light conditions without washing out the target. Because the reticle is in the second focal plane, it remains a consistent size throughout the magnification range. The BDC500 reticle is designed to work effectively with popular hunting cartridges, providing fast and accurate holdovers when taking longer shots in fading light.
Superior Low-Light Performance with 50mm Objective
The 50mm objective lens on the NEOS HMR significantly improves light gathering capability compared to standard 40mm models. This larger objective allows more light to reach the shooter’s eye, resulting in brighter images and better target acquisition during the low-light conditions commonly encountered while hunting. Combined with fully multi-coated lenses and the illuminated BDC500 reticle, the 3-9x50mm NEOS HMR provides excellent clarity and contrast even when light is fading, giving hunters a distinct advantage during the most productive hours of the day.
