CENTER-X SFP MOA Reticle
The CENTER-X reticle is a clean, intuitive second focal plane MOA reticle designed specifically for hunting. It features a simple crosshair with MOA-based hash marks that allow for precise holdovers and windage corrections at longer ranges. Because the reticle is located in the second focal plane, it remains a consistent size throughout the magnification range, making it easy to use at lower powers for close-range shots while still providing useful aiming points when zoomed in. The reticle is non-illuminated, keeping the design simple and reliable for daytime hunting.
Exposed Tactical Turrets
One of the standout features of the NEOS HMR Turret model is its exposed tactical turrets. Unlike traditional capped turrets, these exposed turrets allow for quick and easy elevation and windage adjustments in the field without the need to remove caps. This makes the scope ideal for hunters who may need to dial for longer shots or make quick corrections based on changing conditions. The turrets provide positive, repeatable clicks and are designed for reliable performance in demanding hunting environments.
Optical Performance
The Athlon NEOS HMR Turret 3-9x40 utilizes fully multi-coated lenses that deliver bright, clear images with good color contrast. The 3-9x magnification range is one of the most popular and versatile options for hunters, offering a wide field of view at 3x for close-range or moving targets and up to 9x magnification for precise shots at longer distances. The 40mm objective lens provides a solid balance between light transmission and a compact, lightweight profile, making this scope easy to carry during long days in the field.
