Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 6-24x50 30mm APLR15 FFP MOA Rifle Scope 213085J (UPC 813869026803)

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 6-24x50 30mm APLR15 FFP MOA Rifle Scope 213085J (UPC 813869026803) is a high-performance tactical optic designed for precision shooters who demand reliability, clarity, and advanced features. As part of Athlon’s second-generation Midas TAC series, this scope combines a versatile 6-24x magnification range with a first focal plane APLR15 reticle, making it an excellent choice for tactical applications, precision rifle competitions, and long-range hunting. Built with a durable 30mm tube and premium optical system, the Midas TAC Gen2 delivers consistent performance in demanding environments.

Engineered for serious marksmen, the Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 6-24x50 offers the perfect balance of magnification, reticle functionality, and rugged construction. The first focal plane APLR15 reticle ensures that all holdovers and ranging marks remain accurate at any magnification setting, while the illuminated reticle provides excellent visibility in low-light conditions. Whether you’re engaging targets at mid-range or stretching out to long distances, this scope provides the precision and speed needed for tactical and competitive shooting.

Versatile 6-24x Magnification Range

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 features a practical 6-24x magnification range that offers excellent versatility for a wide variety of shooting applications. At lower magnifications, the scope provides a wide field of view for quick target acquisition and situational awareness. As you increase the magnification to 24x, the scope delivers the detail and resolution needed for precise shot placement at extended ranges.

This magnification range makes the Midas TAC Gen2 ideal for tactical competitions, precision rifle series (PRS) events, and long-range hunting. The 50mm objective lens helps maximize light transmission, ensuring bright and clear images even during dawn and dusk shooting sessions.

First Focal Plane APLR15 Reticle

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 is equipped with the APLR15 first focal plane reticle. Because the reticle is located in the first focal plane, its size scales with the magnification. This ensures that all MOA hold points, ranging marks, and windage references remain accurate at every power setting. The APLR15 reticle features a clean, intuitive design with a fine center crosshair and precise MOA-based hash marks, making it highly effective for both tactical engagements and long-range precision shooting.

The illuminated reticle offers multiple brightness settings, allowing shooters to quickly adjust the intensity to match ambient lighting conditions. This feature provides excellent contrast against dark targets in low-light environments while remaining visible in bright daylight.

30mm Tube and Rugged Construction

The Midas TAC Gen2 utilizes a 30mm main tube, which provides a solid balance between durability and weight. The larger tube diameter allows for a greater range of elevation and windage adjustment compared to 1-inch tubes, giving shooters the adjustment travel needed for long-range shooting. The scope is constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and resistance to recoil.

Athlon’s advanced fully multi-coated lenses deliver bright, clear images with excellent color fidelity and edge-to-edge sharpness. The scope is waterproof, fog proof, and shockproof, making it capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions and rough handling in the field or on the competition range.

Precision Turrets and Reliable Tracking

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 features precision-machined tactical turrets with audible and tactile clicks for accurate and repeatable adjustments. The turrets are designed for easy dialing and provide consistent tracking, which is essential for precision rifle competitions and long-range shooting. The locking turret design helps prevent accidental movement during transport or use.

With its zero-stop feature, shooters can quickly return to their zero after making elevation adjustments, improving efficiency during competitions and field use. These mechanical features, combined with the high-quality optical system, make the Midas TAC Gen2 a trusted choice for serious tactical and precision shooters.
