Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 6-24x50 30mm APRR15 FFP IR MIL Rifle Scope 213086J (UPC 813869026810)

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 6-24x50 30mm APRR15 FFP IR MIL Rifle Scope 213086J (UPC 813869026810) is a high-performance tactical optic built for precision shooters who prefer milliradian-based adjustments. As part of Athlon’s second-generation Midas TAC series, this scope combines a versatile 6-24x magnification range with a first focal plane APRR15 illuminated reticle in MIL. Designed for tactical applications, precision rifle competitions, and long-range shooting, the Midas TAC Gen2 delivers exceptional clarity, reliable tracking, and rugged durability in a feature-rich package.

Engineered for serious marksmen, the Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 6-24x50 offers the perfect balance between magnification, reticle functionality, and mechanical precision. The first focal plane APRR15 reticle ensures that all MIL holdovers, ranging marks, and windage references remain accurate at any magnification setting. The illuminated reticle provides excellent visibility in low-light conditions, making this scope a top choice for tactical competitors and long-range enthusiasts who operate in MIL.

Versatile 6-24x Magnification Range

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 features a practical 6-24x magnification range that provides excellent versatility across a wide variety of shooting scenarios. At lower magnifications, the scope offers a wide field of view for rapid target acquisition and situational awareness. When zoomed to 24x, it delivers the fine detail and resolution needed for precise shot placement at extended distances. This magnification range makes the scope highly effective for tactical competitions, PRS events, and long-range hunting where targets can appear at varying distances.

The 50mm objective lens maximizes light transmission, ensuring bright and clear images even during dawn, dusk, or challenging lighting conditions commonly encountered in long-range shooting.

First Focal Plane APRR15 MIL Reticle

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 is equipped with the APRR15 first focal plane reticle in milliradians. Because the reticle is located in the first focal plane, its size scales with the magnification. This ensures that all MIL-based hold points, ranging marks, and windage references remain accurate at every power setting. The APRR15 reticle features a clean, intuitive design with a fine center crosshair and precise MIL hash marks, making it highly effective for tactical engagements and long-range precision shooting in the MIL system.

The illuminated reticle offers multiple brightness settings, allowing shooters to quickly adjust the intensity to match ambient lighting conditions. This feature provides excellent contrast against dark targets in low-light environments while remaining visible during bright daylight conditions.

30mm Tube and Rugged Construction

The Midas TAC Gen2 utilizes a durable 30mm main tube that provides an excellent balance between strength and weight. The 30mm tube allows for a greater range of elevation and windage adjustment compared to 1-inch tubes, giving shooters the travel needed for long-range shooting. The scope is constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional durability and resistance to heavy recoil.

Athlon’s advanced fully multi-coated lenses deliver bright, high-contrast images with excellent color fidelity and edge-to-edge sharpness. The scope is waterproof, fog proof, and shockproof, making it capable of withstanding harsh weather conditions and rough handling in the field or during competition.

Precision Turrets and Reliable Tracking

The Athlon Midas TAC Gen2 features precision-machined tactical turrets with audible and tactile clicks for accurate and repeatable adjustments in MIL. The turrets are designed for easy dialing and provide consistent tracking, which is essential for precision rifle competitions and long-range shooting. The locking turret design helps prevent accidental movement during transport or use.

With its zero-stop feature, shooters can quickly return to their zero after making elevation adjustments, improving efficiency during competitions and field use. These mechanical features, combined with the high-quality optical system, make the Midas TAC Gen2 a trusted choice for serious tactical and precision shooters who prefer the MIL system.
