Performance and Handling
The Auto Ordnance 50 Round Drum QTMT13KT is engineered for reliable and consistent performance in Thompson firearms. The drum design allows for a high round count while maintaining a relatively compact profile compared to multiple box magazines. The internal spring and follower system is calibrated to deliver smooth feeding, even when the drum is fully loaded or partially depleted.
Shooters appreciate the QTMT13KT for its ability to keep the Thompson running longer between reloads, making it ideal for range days, training drills, and fun plinking sessions. The drum is designed to fit securely into compatible Thompson models and maintains proper balance and handling characteristics. While the added weight of 50 rounds of .45 ACP should be considered, the drum provides a substantial increase in firepower that many Thompson enthusiasts find highly desirable.
