Key Features of the Berger 6mm 109gr Long Range Hybrid Target

Why Choose Berger 6mm 109gr Long Range Hybrid Target Bullets?

Berger’s Long Range Hybrid Target line represents the cutting edge of competition bullet design. The Hybrid ogive combines the accuracy advantages of a secant ogive with the ease of tuning found in tangent ogives. This makes the 109gr 6mm LRHT significantly more forgiving during load development while still delivering the high ballistic coefficient necessary for extreme long-range performance. The 109-grain weight has proven to be an outstanding choice in popular 6mm cartridges such as 6mm Creedmoor, 6mm Dasher, 6mm BR, and 6mm PRC.

The 24985 bulk pack contains 1500 bullets, making it the ideal choice for high-volume reloaders and competitive shooters who go through large quantities of ammunition during training and matches. Berger’s J4 Precision jackets are renowned for their uniformity and concentricity, resulting in exceptional weight consistency and reduced dispersion at long range. The boat tail design further enhances aerodynamic efficiency, helping the bullet resist wind drift and maintain velocity at extreme distances.

Performance and Design Advantages

The Berger 6mm 109gr Long Range Hybrid Target offers several key performance advantages over traditional bullets. The Hybrid ogive design allows reloaders to achieve excellent accuracy across a wider range of seating depths, reducing the time required for load development. The high ballistic coefficient helps the bullet maintain velocity and resist wind drift at extreme ranges, giving shooters a significant advantage in long-range competition. Berger’s manufacturing process ensures exceptional consistency in weight, jacket thickness, and overall dimensions, resulting in tight groups even at distances beyond 1,000 yards. The 109gr weight provides an excellent balance between velocity and aerodynamic performance in most 6mm rifle platforms with 1:7.5 or faster twist rates.
