6.5 Creedmoor Performance
The 6.5 Creedmoor has become one of the most popular cartridges for long-range hunting and precision shooting. It offers a flat trajectory, excellent wind resistance, low recoil, and outstanding accuracy at extended distances. The 6.5 Creedmoor is highly effective on deer, antelope, and other medium game, making it an excellent all-around choice for North American hunters. Its mild recoil allows for fast follow-up shots and makes it comfortable for extended range sessions or for shooters sensitive to heavier recoiling cartridges.
22-Inch Blued Barrel
The 22-inch blued barrel on the X-Bolt 2 Hunter GRII provides an excellent balance between velocity and maneuverability. This barrel length allows the 6.5 Creedmoor to achieve optimal velocities while keeping the overall rifle length practical for carrying in the field. The blued finish offers a classic, non-reflective appearance and provides good protection against the elements. The barrel is precision-machined to deliver the outstanding accuracy that Browning rifles are known for.
X-Bolt 2 Platform Performance
The X-Bolt 2 platform builds upon the success of the original X-Bolt with several meaningful improvements. It features a smoother bolt operation, an improved trigger, and enhanced ergonomics that make the rifle more comfortable to shoot. The three-lever Feather Trigger delivers a crisp, clean break, while the bolt unlock button allows for safe and easy unloading. These refinements make the X-Bolt 2 Hunter GRII a pleasure to shoot during long days in the field or at the range.
