The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion Left Hand (Model 036123294) is a premium bolt-action hunting rifle specifically engineered for left-handed shooters who demand both exceptional performance and refined aesthetics. Chambered in the powerful 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) and featuring a 24-inch blued barrel paired with a high-grade walnut stock, this rifle represents the pinnacle of Browning’s X-Bolt 2 lineup. The Medallion model combines classic beauty with modern engineering, delivering outstanding long-range accuracy, smooth operation, and the comfort of a true left-hand action.
True Left-Hand Configuration
Unlike many manufacturers that simply reverse the bolt handle on a right-hand action, the Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion Left Hand features a genuine left-hand bolt action. The bolt handle is positioned on the left side of the receiver, allowing left-handed shooters to cycle the action naturally and efficiently with their dominant hand. This design significantly improves safety, speed of follow-up shots, and overall shooting comfort by maintaining a consistent cheek weld and proper sight alignment throughout the reloading process. Left-handed hunters no longer have to compromise or adapt to right-handed firearms.
The Browning X-Bolt 2 Medallion Left Hand offers left-handed shooters a premium 6.5 PRC hunting rifle with a 24-inch blued barrel and high-grade walnut stock.
6.5 PRC Performance
The 6.5 PRC is a modern, high-performance cartridge designed for long-range precision and hunting. It offers higher velocity and better long-range energy retention than the 6.5 Creedmoor, making it an excellent choice for hunters who frequently take shots beyond 500 yards. With its ability to push heavy-for-caliber bullets at high speeds, the 6.5 PRC delivers flat trajectories, excellent wind resistance, and devastating terminal performance on medium to large game such as deer, elk, and antelope.
24-Inch Blued Barrel
The 24-inch blued barrel is specifically chosen to maximize the ballistic potential of the 6.5 PRC. The longer barrel length allows the cartridge to achieve higher muzzle velocities, resulting in a flatter trajectory and increased energy at extended ranges. The traditional blued finish provides a classic, non-reflective appearance while offering good protection against the elements. This barrel length is ideal for hunters who demand maximum performance from the 6.5 PRC in open country or mountainous terrain.
Premium Walnut Stock
The Medallion model is distinguished by its high-grade walnut stock, which features elegant grain patterns and a refined finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood. The stock is carefully shaped with a raised cheekpiece for improved sight alignment and includes ergonomic contours for comfortable shouldering during long days in the field. The combination of the walnut stock and blued metalwork gives the rifle a timeless, sophisticated appearance that appeals to traditional hunters who appreciate fine craftsmanship.
