The COMSTOCK MUZZLE BRAKE 1/2X28 9MM COMPACT FACEMOUNT is a high-performance, low-profile muzzle device specifically engineered for 9mm firearms with 1/2x28 threading. This compact face mount muzzle brake (model MBC129FM) delivers effective recoil reduction and muzzle rise control while maintaining a short overall length. Designed by Comstock Armory, this muzzle brake is an excellent choice for pistol caliber carbines, 9mm AR platforms, and any 9mm build where a flush-fitting, compact brake is desired without sacrificing performance.
Why Choose the Comstock Compact Face Mount 9mm Muzzle Brake?
Many 9mm shooters need a muzzle brake that provides noticeable recoil mitigation while keeping the firearm as compact as possible. The Comstock MBC129FM stands out with its innovative face mount design, which allows the brake to sit closer to the barrel for a lower profile and reduced overall length. The 1/2x28 threading makes it compatible with the majority of 9mm threaded barrels found on popular platforms such as AR-9s, CZ Scorpion variants, and custom 9mm builds. Its compact size makes it ideal for home defense rifles, competition PCCs, and any setup where a traditional longer brake would be impractical. Despite its small footprint, this muzzle brake effectively redirects gases to reduce felt recoil and help keep the muzzle flat during rapid fire.

Performance and Build Quality
The COMSTOCK MUZZLE BRAKE 1/2X28 9MM COMPACT FACEMOUNT is precision machined from high-quality steel to deliver reliable, consistent performance. The face mount design allows the brake to mount flush against the barrel shoulder, resulting in a shorter overall package compared to traditional muzzle brakes. This makes it particularly well-suited for shorter-barreled 9mm rifles and pistol caliber carbines where overall length is a priority. The porting is optimized to redirect expanding gases efficiently, helping to reduce both felt recoil and muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire. The compact size does not compromise effectiveness, making this brake a strong performer for both recreational shooters and those competing in PCC divisions. The durable finish protects against rust and wear, ensuring the brake maintains its appearance and function over time.
