The new ACCURA LR-X and MR-X offer features never before seen in production muzzleloaders – like quick-take-down design for easy cleaning and compact transport, a carbon-fiber collapsible loading rod that eliminates the accuracy robbing necessity of hanging a ramrod under the barrel, an adjustable comb for perfect eye-to-sight alignment with open sights or optics, fast rifling twists for optimal performance with modern projectiles and propellants, and a threaded muzzle which allows the use of CVA’s Paramount Muzzle Brake for magnum charge shooting with minimal recoil.

The ACCURA® MR-X is their shorter-barreled ACCURA muzzleloader (the MR stands for “Mountain Rifle”) and features a 26” Bergara barrel in either bare stainless steel or Nitride® treated stainless steel.
