The DSA FAL 12" SBR .308 (Model DSASA5812-IBW-A) is a high-performance short-barreled rifle built on the legendary FAL platform. Chambered in powerful .308 Winchester / 7.62x51 NATO and featuring a compact 12-inch barrel, this DSA Arms SBR delivers exceptional maneuverability without sacrificing the stopping power and reliability that has made the FAL one of the most respected battle rifles in history. Designed for serious shooters, collectors, and professionals who demand a compact yet potent .308 platform, the DSA FAL 12" SBR combines modern manufacturing precision with the classic FAL design that has proven itself in military service around the world.
Compact 12-Inch Barrel Configuration
The 12-inch barrel on this DSA FAL SBR significantly reduces the overall length of the rifle compared to standard 18" or 21" FAL barrels, making it much easier to maneuver in tight spaces, vehicles, or during dynamic shooting scenarios. Despite the shorter barrel, the .308 Winchester cartridge still delivers impressive terminal performance and effective range. This configuration is ideal for users who need the power of .308 in a more compact package while maintaining the inherent accuracy and reliability of the FAL design.
Premium DSA Arms Build Quality
DSA Arms is widely recognized as one of the premier manufacturers of FAL rifles in the United States. Each DSA FAL is built with high-quality components and strict attention to detail. The DSASA5812-IBW-A model features a robust receiver, precision-machined parts, and a durable finish designed to withstand harsh conditions. The rifle maintains the classic FAL ergonomics, including the distinctive side-folding or fixed stock options and the reliable gas-operated system that has made the FAL platform famous for its durability and ease of maintenance.
