Key Features of the Horizon Firearms Venatic Carbon 2 7mm BC

Why Choose the Horizon Firearms Venatic Carbon 2 7mm BC?

The Venatic Carbon 2 in 7mm Backcountry is engineered for hunters who operate in the most demanding environments. The combination of a Proof Research carbon fiber barrel and the shorter 16.5-inch length creates one of the lightest yet most powerful precision hunting rifles in its class. The 7mm Backcountry cartridge delivers impressive velocity and terminal performance on big game while offering better recoil characteristics than larger magnum cartridges. This makes the Venatic Carbon 2 an ideal choice for hunters who need to hike long distances but still require the stopping power necessary for ethical harvests at longer ranges.

The Ember Drift Iota EKO carbon fiber stock dramatically reduces overall weight while providing excellent strength and stability. The integrated Arca rail on the forend allows for quick and secure mounting of bipods and shooting supports, while the full-length Picatinny rail offers flexible optic mounting options. The SOCOM Black finish provides a durable, non-reflective appearance suited for serious field use.
