Key Features of the Horizon Firearms Venatic 2 7mm BC 22"

Why Choose the Horizon Firearms Venatic 2 7mm BC 22"?

The Horizon Firearms Venatic 2 in 7mm Backcountry with the 22-inch barrel offers hunters the best of both worlds: the impressive ballistic performance of the 7mm BC cartridge and the reduced weight made possible by premium carbon fiber construction. The longer 22-inch spiral fluted barrel extracts maximum velocity from the 7mm Backcountry, resulting in flatter trajectories, better wind resistance, and increased effective range compared to shorter-barreled versions. This makes the Venatic 2 22" an excellent choice for hunters pursuing game at longer distances in open country.

The Black DLC coating on the receiver provides outstanding corrosion resistance and a non-reflective finish, while the Artic Moss Iota EKO X carbon fiber stock dramatically reduces weight without compromising strength or stability. The integrated Arca rail on the forend allows for quick and secure mounting of bipods and shooting supports, giving modern hunters the versatility they need in the field.

Performance and Design Advantages

The Venatic 2 features a 22-inch spiral fluted barrel that delivers superior velocity and long-range accuracy with the 7mm Backcountry cartridge. The spiral fluting reduces weight while increasing surface area for faster cooling during extended shooting sessions. The Black DLC coating offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The Artic Moss Iota EKO X carbon fiber stock provides an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and a stable shooting platform. The Arca rail forend enables fast attachment of modern accessories, while the full-length Picatinny rail allows flexible optic mounting. These features combine to create a rifle that is both highly functional and visually distinctive.
