Utilizing industry partners Faxon & KGM, Brownells presents the BRN-SH Suppressors and Barrels.This Suppressor system relies on a rear taper mount attachment, that ensures alignment, repeatability, secure attachment and the Over the Barrel Design that makes this system unique.

The large outer diameter of the Titanium BRN-SH Suppressor, combined with the Over the Barrel design, allows for maximum internal volume, one of the best friends for lowering decibels. The Over the Barrel nature of the system also allows for a longer barrel, squeaking out additional velocity while providing a smaller overall length to the firearm compared to a firearm with the same barrel length and a conventional muzzle attached only suppressor.This design also transfers the weight of the suppressor and attachment further back on the firearm, making the firearm feel less “muzzle heavy”.
Controlling both the suppressor and the barrel, Brownells can avoid any issues with incorrect muzzle device installation or a poor barrel mating surface.Cutting out an additional muzzle device removes a point of failure and an opportunity for misalignment or improper installation.
The large rear taper with large surface area secures the Suppressor and is precisely controlled by Faxon. The taper interface is inspected on each barrel to ensure its relation to the bore and muzzle threads is perfect. By having a contact point at the muzzle threads, as well as a large contact point at the rear taper, the device is perfectly aligned with the bore. The mating contact at the front and rear ensure the barrel and Suppressor flex minimally during firing.
Barrels are now available, for the AR-15, 308 AR and Remington 700 compatible platforms.
