Though the stock and corncob forend are all made from walnut wood and the metal features a rich, blued finish, don't let those elements make you think this gun isn't ready for duty use. The Mossberg 500 Persuader Retrograde is still equipped with a solid, cylinder-bore barrel topped with a brass-bead front sight.
