The NICHOLS LURES 5" LAKE FORK FLUTTER SPOON BLUE SHAD 1 1/8OZ is a premium vertical jigging spoon designed for serious bass anglers. This 5-inch flutter spoon in the realistic Blue Shad color delivers an erratic, fluttering action that closely imitates injured or dying shad. Weighing 1 1/8 ounces, the FS3-118 is built for long-distance casting and effective vertical presentations in deep water, making it an outstanding choice for targeting suspended bass and fish holding on offshore structure.
Why Choose the Nichols Lures Lake Fork Flutter Spoon Blue Shad?
Flutter spoons have become essential tools for catching bass in deeper water and during the fall bite. The Blue Shad color pattern offers a natural, realistic profile that closely mimics the appearance of threadfin and gizzard shad, two of the most common forage species bass feed on. The 5-inch length combined with the 1 1/8 oz weight allows anglers to reach deeper water quickly while producing a wide, erratic fluttering action on the fall that triggers aggressive reaction strikes. Whether you’re fishing deep points, offshore humps, ledges, or vertically jigging over schools of suspended bass, this Lake Fork Flutter Spoon delivers consistent results. It is a favorite among tournament anglers who need a reliable, high-performance spoon that excels in clear to moderately stained water.

Performance and Build Quality
The NICHOLS LURES 5" LAKE FORK FLUTTER SPOON BLUE SHAD 1 1/8OZ is engineered to perform in demanding fishing conditions. The Blue Shad finish provides excellent realism and flash, making it highly effective when bass are feeding on shad in clear to moderately stained water. The unique shape of the Lake Fork Flutter Spoon creates a wide, erratic fluttering action on the fall that closely mimics an injured baitfish, often triggering strikes from bass that ignore other lures. The 1 1/8 oz weight allows anglers to maintain contact with the bottom or suspended fish while fishing deep structure effectively. Nichols Lures builds these spoons with quality components, including a strong treble hook that holds up to big bass and repeated use. This flutter spoon excels when fished with a lift-and-fall retrieve or when vertically jigged over deep water schools.
