Nichols Lures DUH 2.0 Spoon Sierra 3/4 oz | Model 2D07-34
The Nichols Lures DUH 2.0 Spoon Sierra 3/4 oz (Model 2D07-34) is a premium casting spoon designed to deliver an irresistible fluttering action and flash that triggers aggressive strikes from bass. This lighter 3/4 ounce version of the popular DUH 2.0 spoon features the highly effective Sierra color pattern and is ideal for shallow water, lighter tackle applications, and finesse presentations. With its UPC 740311013091, the Nichols DUH 2.0 in Sierra has become a trusted choice among serious anglers who want a realistic and versatile spoon for a wide range of fishing conditions.
Realistic Sierra Color Pattern
The Sierra color is a natural, highly detailed baitfish pattern featuring a bright silver body with subtle green and blue accents along the back and sides. This color closely mimics the appearance of common forage fish found in many lakes and reservoirs. The Sierra finish on the DUH 2.0 Spoon provides excellent flash and a lifelike appearance in clear to moderately stained water. The realistic scale-like detailing and reflective qualities make this color particularly effective when bass are feeding on shad or other silver-sided baitfish. The Sierra pattern offers a natural look that often outperforms brighter colors in clear water and on pressured fisheries.
Superior Fluttering Action
The DUH 2.0 Spoon is engineered to produce a wide, fluttering action that closely imitates an injured or dying baitfish. The 3/4 oz weight allows the spoon to fall at a more natural rate than heavier models, creating a seductive wobbling and fluttering motion on the fall. When retrieved with a steady or stop-and-go cadence, the spoon rocks side to side, generating flash and vibration that draws strikes from bass. This lighter version excels in shallow water, around grass lines, and when fish are feeding near the surface or in the upper water column.
Versatile Performance on Lighter Tackle
The 3/4 oz DUH 2.0 Spoon is perfectly sized for anglers fishing with medium to medium-heavy spinning or casting tackle. Its lighter weight makes it easier to cast accurately and fish effectively in shallower water where heavier spoons can sink too quickly. This size is particularly effective during the shad spawn, when targeting bass in shallow flats, or when fish are reluctant to chase faster-moving baits. The DUH 2.0’s unique shape and balance create a distinct fluttering action that sets it apart from standard spoons, giving anglers a finesse option with proven results.
Premium Construction and Durability
Nichols Lures builds the DUH 2.0 Spoon with high-quality materials designed to withstand repeated strikes from aggressive fish. The spoon features a durable, chip-resistant finish that maintains its color and flash over time. High-quality treble hooks and strong split rings ensure solid hooksets and reliable performance. The 3/4 oz size offers an excellent balance of castability, action, and versatility for a wide range of fishing situations.
