Nichols Lures DUH 2.0 Spoon Tactical Shad 3/4 oz | Model 2D01-34
The Nichols Lures DUH 2.0 Spoon Tactical Shad 3/4 oz (Model 2D01-34) is a premium casting spoon designed to deliver an irresistible fluttering action and flash that triggers aggressive strikes from bass and other game fish. This lighter 3/4 ounce version of the popular DUH 2.0 spoon offers excellent versatility for anglers fishing with lighter tackle or targeting fish in shallower water. With its UPC 740311013053, the Nichols DUH 2.0 in Tactical Shad has become a trusted choice among serious anglers who want a high-quality spoon that performs consistently across a wide range of conditions.
Tactical Shad Color Pattern
The Tactical Shad color features a realistic shad profile with a mix of silver, white, and subtle dark accents that closely mimic the appearance of threadfin and gizzard shad. This color provides excellent flash and visibility in both clear and lightly stained water. The Tactical Shad finish on the DUH 2.0 Spoon creates a natural yet highly attractive presentation that bass find difficult to resist. The combination of realistic coloring and the spoon’s natural wobbling action makes this one of the most productive color options in the Nichols lineup, especially when bass are feeding on shad.
Superior Fluttering Action
The DUH 2.0 Spoon is engineered to produce a wide, fluttering action that closely imitates an injured or dying baitfish. The 3/4 oz weight allows the spoon to fall at a more natural rate than heavier models, making it highly effective when fished with a slow, steady retrieve or a stop-and-go presentation. When retrieved with an erratic motion, the spoon rocks side to side while creating flash and vibration that draws fish from a distance. This lighter version excels in shallow water, around grass lines, and when fish are feeding near the surface or in the upper water column.
Versatile Performance on Lighter Tackle
The 3/4 oz DUH 2.0 Spoon is an excellent choice for anglers fishing with medium to medium-heavy spinning or casting tackle. Its lighter weight makes it easier to cast accurately with lighter line and rods while still providing enough weight for good casting distance. This size is particularly effective when targeting bass in shallow water, during the shad spawn, or when fish are reluctant to chase faster-moving baits. The DUH 2.0’s unique shape and balance create a distinct fluttering action that sets it apart from standard spoons.
Premium Construction and Durability
Nichols Lures builds the DUH 2.0 Spoon with high-quality materials designed to withstand repeated strikes from aggressive fish. The spoon features a durable finish that resists chipping and fading, even after hundreds of casts. High-quality hooks and split rings are used to ensure reliable hooksets and long-term durability. The 3/4 oz size offers a perfect balance of castability and action for a wide range of fishing situations.
