Nichols Lures DUH 2.0 Spoon TN Shad 1-3/4 oz | Model 2D04-175
The Nichols Lures DUH 2.0 Spoon TN Shad 1-3/4 oz (Model 2D04-175) is a premium heavy casting spoon engineered to deliver an irresistible fluttering action and flash that triggers aggressive strikes from bass and striped bass. This 1-3/4 ounce version of the popular DUH 2.0 spoon features the highly effective Tennessee Shad color pattern and is designed for long-distance casting and fishing in deeper water or windy conditions. With its UPC 740311012728, the Nichols DUH 2.0 in TN Shad has become a go-to choice for serious anglers targeting big fish that respond to realistic shad presentations.
Realistic TN Shad Color Pattern
The TN Shad (Tennessee Shad) color is one of the most popular and effective shad patterns available. It features a bright white belly, silver sides, and a blue-green back with realistic scale detailing and flash. This color closely mimics the threadfin and gizzard shad that bass and striped bass feed on throughout much of the year. The TN Shad finish on the DUH 2.0 Spoon provides excellent visibility and flash in both clear and stained water, making it highly effective when fish are keyed in on shad. The natural yet highly reflective pattern gives the spoon a lifelike appearance that pressured fish often prefer over brighter colors.
Superior Fluttering Action
The DUH 2.0 Spoon is specifically designed to produce a wide, fluttering action that imitates an injured or dying baitfish. The 1-3/4 oz weight allows the spoon to be cast extremely long distances while maintaining a natural falling and wobbling motion. When retrieved with a steady or erratic cadence, the spoon rocks side to side, creating maximum flash and vibration that draws fish from a distance. This heavier model excels when fishing deeper water, around offshore structure, or in windy conditions where lighter spoons struggle to reach the strike zone.
Heavy-Duty Construction for Big Fish
Nichols Lures builds the DUH 2.0 Spoon with premium materials built to withstand the abuse of big fish and repeated use. The spoon features a durable, chip-resistant finish that maintains its color and flash over time. High-quality treble hooks and strong split rings ensure solid hooksets and reliable performance when battling large bass or striped bass. The 1-3/4 oz size provides the weight needed for long casts and deeper presentations while still delivering the signature fluttering action that makes the DUH 2.0 so effective.
