Chambered in the high-performance 7mm Backcountry cartridge, the Elevation 2.0 delivers outstanding long-range performance while remaining extremely maneuverable. This rifle is ideal for backcountry hunters, mountain hunts, and anyone who needs a lightweight, accurate rifle that excels in rugged terrain.

Advanced Carbon Fiber Barrel Technology

At the heart of the Proof Research Elevation 2.0 is its signature carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Proof Research is widely recognized as the leader in carbon fiber barrel manufacturing. The 16-inch barrel dramatically reduces overall rifle weight while maintaining superior rigidity, accuracy, and heat dissipation. Carbon fiber construction allows the barrel to cool faster between shots and significantly reduces mirage, giving shooters a clearer sight picture during extended range sessions. The shorter 16-inch length enhances maneuverability in dense brush, thick timber, and tight hunting situations without sacrificing the ballistic performance of the 7mm Backcountry cartridge.

7mm Backcountry Cartridge Performance

The 7mm Backcountry is a modern, high-performance cartridge designed to deliver magnum-level performance from shorter barrels. It offers excellent ballistic coefficients, flat trajectories, and impressive terminal performance on big game. When paired with the Proof Research carbon fiber barrel, the 7mm Backcountry provides consistent velocities and exceptional accuracy at extended distances. This cartridge is particularly well-suited for hunters who want high performance without the added length and weight of longer barrels, making it an ideal match for the compact Elevation 2.0 platform.

Tactical Flat Dark Earth (TFDE) Finish

The Elevation 2.0 is finished in a durable Tactical Flat Dark Earth (TFDE) color scheme that provides excellent corrosion resistance and a modern tactical appearance. This non-reflective finish helps the rifle blend into a variety of environments while protecting the action and components from the elements. The TFDE colorway gives the rifle a professional, high-end look that appeals to both hunters and tactical shooters who prefer a low-visibility finish.
