Chambered in the powerful and efficient 25 Creedmoor cartridge, the Elevation MTR delivers outstanding ballistic performance for precision rifle competitions, long-range varmint hunting, and tactical applications. The shorter 18-inch barrel makes this rifle exceptionally maneuverable while maintaining impressive accuracy and velocity.
Advanced Carbon Fiber Barrel Technology
At the heart of the Proof Research Elevation MTR is its signature carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Proof Research is widely recognized as the leader in carbon fiber barrel manufacturing. The 18-inch barrel dramatically reduces overall rifle weight while maintaining superior rigidity, accuracy, and heat dissipation. Carbon fiber construction allows the barrel to cool faster between shots and significantly reduces mirage, giving shooters a clearer sight picture during extended range sessions. The compact 18-inch length enhances maneuverability in tight spaces, dense brush, and tactical environments while still delivering strong ballistic performance from the 25 Creedmoor cartridge.
25 Creedmoor Cartridge Performance
The 25 Creedmoor is a modern, high-performance cartridge that offers excellent long-range ballistics with manageable recoil. It provides flat trajectories, high velocity, and impressive accuracy at extended distances. When paired with the Proof Research carbon fiber barrel, the 25 Creedmoor delivers consistent velocities and sub-MOA accuracy. This cartridge is particularly well-suited for precision rifle competitions and long-range varmint or predator hunting, offering outstanding terminal performance with less recoil than larger magnum cartridges.
Tactical Flat Dark Earth (TFDE) Finish
The Elevation MTR is finished in a durable Tactical Flat Dark Earth (TFDE) color scheme that provides excellent corrosion resistance and a modern tactical appearance. This non-reflective finish helps the rifle blend into a variety of environments while protecting the action and components from the elements. The TFDE colorway gives the rifle a professional, high-end look that appeals to both competitive shooters and tactical users who prefer a low-visibility finish.
