Chambered in the powerful and efficient 6.5 PRC (6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge), the Elevation MTR delivers outstanding ballistic performance for precision rifle competitions, long-range hunting, and tactical applications. This rifle offers the perfect balance of reduced weight, precision engineering, and superior accuracy.

Advanced Carbon Fiber Barrel Technology

At the heart of the Proof Research Elevation MTR is its signature carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Proof Research is widely recognized as the leader in carbon fiber barrel manufacturing. The 20-inch barrel dramatically reduces overall rifle weight while maintaining superior rigidity, accuracy, and heat dissipation. Carbon fiber construction allows the barrel to cool faster between shots and significantly reduces mirage, giving shooters a clearer sight picture during extended range sessions. The 20-inch length provides an excellent balance between velocity and maneuverability, making this rifle highly effective for long-range shooting in a variety of conditions.

6.5 PRC Cartridge Performance

The 6.5 PRC (6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge) is a modern, high-performance cartridge designed specifically for long-range shooting. It offers excellent ballistic coefficients, flat trajectories, and impressive terminal performance on medium to large game. When paired with the Proof Research carbon fiber barrel, the 6.5 PRC delivers consistent velocities and exceptional accuracy at extended distances. This cartridge provides magnum-level performance with more manageable recoil than many traditional magnums, allowing shooters to maintain precision during follow-up shots in competition or field scenarios.

Tactical Flat Dark Earth (TFDE) Finish

The Elevation MTR is finished in a durable Tactical Flat Dark Earth (TFDE) color scheme that provides excellent corrosion resistance and a modern tactical appearance. This non-reflective finish helps the rifle blend into a variety of environments while protecting the action and components from the elements. The TFDE colorway gives the rifle a professional, high-end look that appeals to both competitive shooters and tactical users who prefer a low-visibility finish.
