Proof Research Elevation MTR 7 PRC 22" MDNT Left Hand | Ultra-Lightweight Carbon Fiber Precision Rifle | Model 151556 | UPC 843068151556
The Proof Research Elevation MTR 7 PRC Left Hand is a premium ultra-lightweight precision rifle specifically engineered for left-handed shooters who demand exceptional long-range accuracy and portability. Featuring a 22-inch carbon fiber barrel and the MDNT stock configuration, this model (151556) combines Proof Research’s industry-leading carbon fiber technology with a modern tactical design. Chambered in the powerful and efficient 7 PRC (7mm Precision Rifle Cartridge), the Elevation MTR delivers outstanding ballistic performance for precision rifle competitions, long-range hunting, and tactical applications. As a true left-hand model, it provides left-handed shooters with the same level of quality, ergonomics, and performance found in right-handed versions.
Advanced Carbon Fiber Barrel Technology
At the heart of the Proof Research Elevation MTR is its signature carbon fiber wrapped barrel. Proof Research is widely recognized as the leader in carbon fiber barrel manufacturing. The 22-inch barrel dramatically reduces overall rifle weight while maintaining superior rigidity, accuracy, and heat dissipation. Carbon fiber construction allows the barrel to cool faster between shots and significantly reduces mirage, giving shooters a clearer sight picture during extended range sessions. The 22-inch length provides an excellent balance between velocity and maneuverability, making this rifle highly effective for long-range shooting in a variety of conditions.
True Left-Hand Configuration
This Elevation MTR model is purpose-built as a left-hand rifle. The bolt handle, safety, and ejection port are all configured for left-handed operation, providing smooth, intuitive handling without compromise. Left-handed shooters no longer have to adapt to right-handed rifles or deal with awkward operation. This dedicated left-hand design improves comfort, reduces fatigue during extended shooting sessions, and allows for faster cycling and more natural operation in the field or on the competition line.
7 PRC Cartridge Performance
The 7 PRC (7mm Precision Rifle Cartridge) is a modern, high-performance cartridge designed specifically for long-range shooting. It offers excellent ballistic coefficients, flat trajectories, and impressive terminal performance on medium to large game. When paired with the Proof Research carbon fiber barrel, the 7 PRC delivers consistent velocities and exceptional accuracy at extended distances. This cartridge provides magnum-level performance with more manageable recoil than many traditional magnums, allowing shooters to maintain precision during follow-up shots in competition or field scenarios.
MDNT Stock Configuration
The MDNT stock on the Elevation MTR is specifically designed for shooters who need a lightweight yet stable platform. This stock offers excellent ergonomics, a comfortable grip, and a stable shooting platform whether shooting from prone, seated, or supported positions. The MDNT configuration helps reduce overall weight while maintaining the rigidity needed for consistent long-range accuracy. Its modern design provides good cheek weld and length of pull options for a customized fit, making it well-suited for dynamic shooting and extended range sessions.
