Advanced Recoil Reduction Technology
The Radian Afterburner + Ramjet system utilizes a sophisticated gas redirection design to combat muzzle flip. The Ramjet barrel features strategically placed ports that channel expanding gases into the Afterburner compensator, which then directs those gases upward. This effectively counters recoil, allowing shooters to stay on target during rapid fire. On the full-size Glock 17 Gen5, this system provides outstanding control, making it an excellent choice for competitive shooters, law enforcement professionals, and defensive pistol users who demand maximum performance from their duty or competition pistol.
Premium Black/Grey Two-Tone Finish
This version of the Afterburner + Ramjet features a modern Black/Grey two-tone finish that offers a refined, tactical appearance. The contrasting colors provide excellent visual appeal while maintaining a professional, low-visibility look suitable for both competition and duty use. The durable coating delivers superior corrosion resistance and wear protection, ensuring the system maintains its appearance even after thousands of rounds. The Black/Grey finish is particularly popular among shooters who want a clean, high-end aesthetic without being overly flashy.
Match-Grade Ramjet Barrel
At the core of this system is the Radian Ramjet barrel, manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and precision machined for superior accuracy. It features a match-grade bore and rifling that delivers consistent, tight groupings. Integrated gas ports are optimized to work seamlessly with the Afterburner compensator, maximizing recoil reduction without sacrificing reliability or accuracy. The Black/Grey finish provides both visual appeal and long-lasting protection against the elements.
