The Rock Island Armory Pak Out-Long 12 Gauge Shotgun (Model PAK OUT-LONG) is a versatile pump-action shotgun that combines the power of a full-length 18.5-inch barrel with the convenience of a folding receiver. This innovative design allows the shotgun to be stored and transported in a much more compact form while still delivering the performance and accuracy expected from a traditional 12 gauge shotgun. Finished in a durable black coating, the Pak Out-Long is built for home defense, tactical applications, and recreational shooting.

Folding Receiver for Compact Storage and Transport

The defining feature of the Pak Out-Long is its folding receiver mechanism. When folded, the overall length of the shotgun is dramatically reduced, making it much easier to store in a vehicle, safe, or tight spaces. When unfolded and locked into position, the shotgun functions like a standard pump-action with an 18.5-inch barrel, providing excellent velocity, pattern performance, and effective range. This unique design offers the best of both worlds — compact storage without sacrificing barrel length and ballistic performance.

The black finish gives the shotgun a professional, tactical appearance. Ideal Applications

The Rock Island Armory Pak Out-Long is an excellent choice for a variety of users and scenarios. Homeowners looking for a defensive shotgun that can be stored compactly will appreciate the folding receiver design. The 18.5-inch barrel provides better velocity and pattern performance than shorter “tactical” barrels, making it more effective for home defense at typical indoor distances. The 5-round capacity offers a good balance between firepower and size. Law enforcement, security personnel, and tactical shooters may also find value in a shotgun that can be easily stored in a vehicle or locker when not in use. Recreational shooters who want a versatile 12 gauge that doesn’t take up much space when not in use will also benefit from this model. The black finish and pump-action reliability make the Pak Out-Long a practical, no-nonsense shotgun for those who need both performance and portability.
