Shield Sights AMSX Advanced Mini Sight XL Red Multi Reticle Red Dot Sight | Premium Open Reflex Optic | Model AMSX-MR | UPC 754590543736
The Shield Sights AMSX Advanced Mini Sight XL Red Multi Reticle is a cutting-edge open reflex red dot sight designed for competitive shooters, tactical professionals, and serious enthusiasts who demand maximum versatility and performance. This model (AMSX-MR) features an advanced multi-reticle system, a large viewing window, and premium glass lenses. As part of Shield’s Advanced Mini Sight XL series, the AMSX offers an expanded sight picture in a compact and lightweight package, making it one of the most adaptable red dot sights available for USPSA, IDPA, 3-Gun, and other dynamic shooting disciplines.
Advanced Multi Reticle System
The standout feature of the AMSX is its multi-reticle capability. Shooters can easily switch between multiple reticle patterns, including a precise dot, a 65 MOA ring, or a combination of both. This versatility allows users to customize the reticle to match the specific demands of each stage or shooting scenario. Whether you need a fine aiming point for precision shots or a large ring for rapid target acquisition, the AMSX multi-reticle system provides the flexibility to adapt instantly without changing optics.
Open Mini Sight XL Design
The AMSX features Shield’s signature Open Mini Sight XL platform, which provides a significantly larger viewing window compared to standard micro red dots. This expanded sight picture enables faster target acquisition and improved situational awareness during high-speed stages. The open reflex design eliminates the tunnel vision effect common with enclosed optics, giving shooters a more natural and unobstructed view of their target and surroundings. This design is especially beneficial in competition environments where speed and awareness are critical.
Premium Glass Lenses
Unlike many budget red dot sights that use polymer lenses, the Shield AMSX is equipped with high-quality glass lenses. The glass lens delivers superior optical clarity, better light transmission, reduced distortion, and improved scratch resistance. This results in a sharper, brighter, and more color-accurate sight picture across all lighting conditions. The glass lens also maintains its performance over time, making the AMSX a reliable long-term investment for serious shooters.

The multi-reticle system further enhances versatility, allowing shooters to choose between a fine dot for precision or a larger ring for speed, all within the same optic. The open design minimizes the feeling of looking through a tube, allowing shooters to stay more focused on their target and surroundings during fast stages.

The AMSX is built to meet the demands of high-level competition shooting. Its multi-reticle capability, large viewing window, and crisp glass optics make it a favorite among shooters who compete in multiple divisions and need an optic that can adapt to varying stage designs.
