Performance and Build Quality
The SHIMANO NASCI FD 4000XG SPINNING REEL is engineered to deliver consistent, high-quality performance across a wide range of fishing conditions. The cold-forged Hagane Gear provides superior strength and resistance to wear, ensuring the reel maintains its smooth performance even after seasons of heavy use. The 6.2:1 gear ratio allows anglers to quickly pick up slack and keep pressure on fish during the fight. Shimano’s X-Ship technology supports the pinion gear on both ends, reducing flex and maintaining alignment under heavy loads. The G-Free Body design shifts the center of gravity closer to the rod, improving balance and reducing fatigue during long days on the water. With its corrosion-resistant components and smooth drag system, the Nasci FD 4000XG is well-suited for both freshwater bass fishing and light inshore saltwater applications.
