The Smith & Wesson M&P 10mm Full Size is a powerful, California-compliant semi-automatic pistol chambered in 10mm Auto. This model (14505) combines the proven M&P platform with the hard-hitting performance of the 10mm cartridge, making it an excellent choice for big game hunting, backcountry defense, and serious shooters who demand more power than traditional 9mm handguns. Featuring a 4.6-inch barrel, an optic-ready slide, and an ambidextrous thumb safety, this full-size 10mm pistol delivers exceptional accuracy, reliability, and versatility while meeting all California state requirements.
Powerful 10mm Auto Performance
The 10mm Auto cartridge offers significantly more energy and penetration than 9mm or .40 S&W, making it a favorite among hunters and those who carry in areas with large predators. The M&P 10mm Full Size takes full advantage of this powerful round with its 4.6-inch barrel, which maximizes velocity and terminal performance. Whether used for hunting hogs, deer, or as a defensive handgun in bear country, this pistol delivers the stopping power needed for demanding situations.
Optic Ready Slide
This model comes with an optic-ready slide, allowing shooters to easily mount popular red dot sights for faster target acquisition and improved accuracy. The optic-ready design is ideal for competitive shooters, hunters who want quick target engagement, and those who prefer the advantages of a modern pistol optic. The mounting system is compatible with many of today’s most popular micro red dot sights.
Ambidextrous Thumb Safety
The M&P 10mm Full Size is equipped with an ambidextrous thumb safety, providing an extra layer of security for those who prefer a manual safety on their handgun. This feature is especially valuable for hunters and those who carry in the field, offering peace of mind when the pistol is holstered. The safety is easy to operate with either hand and does not interfere with a smooth draw.
California Compliant Configuration
This version of the M&P 10mm is specifically configured to be fully compliant with California state laws. It features the required thumb safety and ships with two 10-round magazines, meeting all current magazine capacity and safety requirements for the California market. This makes it one of the best options for California residents looking for a powerful 10mm pistol.
