The TC Arms Super Jag .50 Cal 10-32 Threads 9073R is a premium, heavy-duty loading and cleaning jag specifically engineered for .50 caliber muzzleloaders. Manufactured by Thompson Center Arms, this upgraded “Super Jag” features an advanced design that delivers superior projectile control during loading and exceptional patch retention during cleaning. With standard 10-32 threading, the 9073R is compatible with most ramrods and cleaning rods, making it a versatile and essential accessory for owners of the Thompson Center T17 Prohunter and other popular .50 caliber inline muzzleloaders.
Why Choose the TC Arms Super Jag .50 Caliber?
The TC Arms Super Jag represents a significant upgrade over standard muzzleloader jags. Many conventional jags struggle to maintain consistent contact with the base of the projectile, which can lead to crooked seating and reduced accuracy. The Super Jag’s enhanced geometry provides a more secure and centered grip on .50 caliber saboted projectiles, helping shooters achieve straight, repeatable loading with minimal effort. In addition, its superior patch-holding capability allows for more effective removal of black powder fouling during cleaning. Whether you’re a dedicated big game hunter or a recreational muzzleloader shooter, the 9073R offers the performance and durability needed for reliable field use and proper firearm maintenance.

Performance and Handling
The TC Arms Super Jag .50 Cal is designed to improve both the speed and consistency of the muzzleloading process. During loading, the enhanced jag design helps properly center the sabot and provides a firm, even grip on the base of the projectile. This reduces the likelihood of the bullet tipping or seating at an angle, which can negatively affect accuracy. Hunters will appreciate the smoother and more reliable loading experience, especially when wearing gloves or in cold weather conditions.
When used for cleaning, the Super Jag excels at pressing patches firmly against the rifling, allowing for more efficient removal of stubborn black powder residue. The 10-32 threading makes this jag compatible with a wide range of traditional and modern ramrods, giving shooters maximum flexibility. Compact and easy to carry, the 9073R is a practical addition to any muzzleloader kit. Whether you’re preparing for a hunt or performing detailed maintenance, this jag helps maintain the performance and longevity of your .50 caliber muzzleloader.
