The Type 2 version incorporates several key improvements over the original RMR, including enhanced durability, better sealing, and refined electronics. This sight is widely regarded as one of the toughest red dot sights available, capable of withstanding extreme recoil, drops, and harsh environmental conditions. Whether mounted on a pistol slide, rifle, or carbine, the Trijicon RM06 delivers fast target acquisition, excellent visibility in all lighting conditions, and unmatched toughness that has made it a favorite among law enforcement, military personnel, and competitive shooters worldwide.

Trijicon has built its reputation on creating combat-proven optics that perform when it matters most, and the RMR RM06 Type 2 continues that legacy with its rugged construction and reliable performance.

Adjustable LED Illumination with 3.25 MOA Green Dot

The RM06 Type 2 is equipped with an adjustable LED reticle that allows users to manually control the brightness of the 3.25 MOA green dot. The green dot offers excellent visibility in a wide range of lighting conditions and is often preferred over red dots by many shooters for its contrast against various backgrounds. With multiple brightness settings, users can quickly adjust the dot intensity to match ambient light conditions, from bright sunlight to low-light environments. The 3.25 MOA dot size provides a fast, precise aiming point that is large enough for rapid target acquisition while remaining fine enough for accurate shot placement at distance.

Exceptional Durability and Ruggedness

The Trijicon RMR Type 2 is engineered to survive the harshest conditions. Its forged aluminum housing is designed to withstand heavy recoil, repeated drops, and extreme temperatures. The Type 2 model features improved sealing and a more robust design compared to earlier versions, making it even more reliable in demanding environments. This sight is waterproof to significant depths and is built to operate in rain, snow, mud, and sand without failure. Its reputation for toughness has made the RMR a trusted choice for military and law enforcement professionals who require an optic that will not fail when lives are on the line.

Versatile Mounting Options

The RM06 Type 2 is compatible with a wide range of mounting solutions, allowing it to be used on pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. It is commonly mounted directly to pistol slides using aftermarket optic-ready cuts or adapter plates. On rifles, it can be mounted using various Picatinny rail mounts or absolute co-witness setups. This versatility makes the RMR an excellent choice for shooters who want one high-quality optic that can be used across multiple platforms.
