Z-Man PrawnStarz Loose Body 3.5" Purple Death | Premium Soft Plastic Prawn Lure | 3 Pack | Model PSLB35-11 | UPC 810160952824
The Z-Man PrawnStarz Loose Body 3.5" Purple Death is a highly realistic and extremely durable soft plastic prawn imitation designed for serious inshore anglers. This 3-pack (PSLB35-11) features Z-Man’s industry-leading ElaZtech material and the proven Purple Death color pattern, making it one of the most effective prawn-style lures available for targeting redfish, speckled trout, snook, flounder, and other inshore species. The loose body design allows for maximum action and versatility, while the super-tough ElaZtech construction ensures the lure holds up to repeated strikes without tearing.
Realistic Prawn Profile and Action
The PrawnStarz Loose Body is meticulously sculpted to replicate the natural appearance and movement of a live prawn or shrimp. Its segmented body, realistic legs, and subtle tail action create lifelike movement with every twitch or retrieve. When rigged properly, the lure swims with a natural, enticing motion that triggers aggressive strikes from predatory fish. The loose body design enhances this action, allowing the lure to move freely and realistically in the water column, making it especially effective when fished around grass flats, mangroves, oyster bars, and shallow bays.
Superior ElaZtech Construction
Like all Z-Man soft plastics, the PrawnStarz is manufactured using ElaZtech, a revolutionary material that is up to 10 times more durable than traditional soft plastics. This means the lure can withstand multiple vicious strikes from redfish and other aggressive species without tearing or losing its shape. The ElaZtech material also provides excellent buoyancy and a natural feel, allowing the PrawnStarz to maintain its realistic action cast after cast. Anglers will appreciate how long each lure lasts compared to conventional shrimp imitations.
Purple Death Color Pattern
The Purple Death color is a proven producer in many inshore fisheries. This dark purple body with contrasting accents provides excellent visibility and contrast in both clear and stained water. The color excels in low-light conditions, overcast days, and when fishing deeper grass flats or around structure where prawns naturally occur. Many anglers consider Purple Death one of the top-performing colors for redfish and speckled trout, especially in the Gulf Coast and Atlantic inshore waters.

Why Choose the Z-Man PrawnStarz Loose Body Purple Death?
The Z-Man PrawnStarz Loose Body stands out as one of the most realistic and durable prawn imitations on the market. Its ElaZtech construction ensures the lure lasts significantly longer than traditional soft plastics, while the natural profile and action closely mimic live prawns that gamefish feed on daily. The Purple Death color is a proven winner across many regions and water conditions, particularly when targeting redfish and speckled trout. Whether you’re fishing shallow grass flats, working mangrove shorelines, or targeting structure in deeper bays, the PrawnStarz delivers consistent results. Z-Man’s reputation for producing high-quality, fish-catching soft plastics makes the PrawnStarz a trusted choice among serious inshore anglers.
Versatile Rigging Options
The loose body design of the PrawnStarz allows anglers to rig it in multiple ways depending on the situation. It can be rigged on a traditional jig head for casting, used with a weighted hook for vertical presentations, or fished weedless with an EWG hook when fishing around heavy cover such as oysters or mangroves. This versatility makes the PrawnStarz an excellent addition to any inshore tackle box.
Proven Inshore Performance
Shrimp and prawns are a primary food source for many inshore species. The PrawnStarz Loose Body capitalizes on this by providing a realistic imitation that triggers instinctive feeding responses. Its subtle action and natural profile make it especially effective when fish are feeding on smaller prey or when a more finesse presentation is required. The Purple Death color adds extra appeal in many coastal waters.
