The Z9-5036-BLK-DRG model is precision-engineered to accommodate the larger profile of the VP8000 with an extended battery while maintaining a slim, professional appearance on a duty belt. Whether you’re on patrol, working in a tactical environment, or need reliable radio access during long shifts, this Zero9 Solutions holster delivers the performance, protection, and quick-draw capability that public safety professionals demand.

Zero9 Solutions is recognized for producing some of the most precise and durable Kydex duty gear on the market. This VP8000 extended battery holster continues that tradition by offering a purpose-built solution for one of Motorola’s most popular public safety radios when fitted with a high-capacity battery.

Custom Molded for VP8000 with Extended Battery

Unlike generic radio holders, the Zero9 Solutions Z9-5036-BLK-DRG is specifically molded to fit the Motorola VP8000 radio when using an extended battery. This custom fit ensures maximum retention while still allowing for a smooth, fast draw. The holster is contoured to accommodate the increased depth and height of the extended battery without adding unnecessary bulk, giving officers a secure and streamlined carry option that works seamlessly with standard duty belts and MOLLE platforms.

Premium Kydex Construction

Built from high-quality Kydex, this radio holster offers superior strength, impact resistance, and long-term durability. Kydex maintains its shape under stress and performs reliably in extreme temperatures, making it ideal for daily duty use. The black finish provides a professional, non-reflective appearance that integrates well with law enforcement uniforms and tactical gear while resisting scratches and wear over time.

Secure Retention and Quick Access

The Zero9 Solutions VP8000 holster is designed with active retention to keep your radio securely in place during running, physical activity, or high-stress situations. Despite the strong hold, the holster allows for a fast and smooth draw when communication is critical. The precise molding ensures the radio remains firmly seated until intentionally removed, reducing the risk of accidental loss or damage in the field.

Low-Profile Duty Belt Design

This model is engineered for low-profile carry on a standard duty belt. Its slim design minimizes bulk and reduces snag hazards, allowing officers to move freely while keeping their radio easily accessible. The holster sits close to the body, improving comfort during extended shifts and minimizing interference with other essential duty equipment such as firearms, handcuffs, or flashlights.
