Zoom Bait Fat Albert Grub Cotton Candy | Model 011-023
The Zoom Bait Fat Albert Grub Cotton Candy (Model 011-023) is a bulky, high-performance soft plastic grub designed to deliver maximum action and visibility. This oversized grub features a thick, meaty body paired with a large, aggressive curly tail that creates a wide swimming motion and strong vibration. Each bag contains 10 high-quality grubs in the bright Cotton Candy color, making it an excellent choice for anglers fishing in stained water or low-light conditions. The Fat Albert Grub stands out from standard grubs due to its substantial profile and powerful action, making it a versatile bait for multiple fishing techniques.
Bulky Body with Powerful Swimming Action
The Fat Albert Grub is built with a noticeably thicker and wider body compared to traditional grubs. This meaty profile gives the bait a larger presence in the water, which is especially effective when bass are feeding on bigger forage or when fishing in stained or murky water. The large, wide curly tail generates significant vibration and a pronounced swimming action, even when retrieved slowly. This combination of bulk and action makes the Fat Albert Grub highly effective when used as a trailer on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, or when fished on a jig head around cover.
Bright Cotton Candy Color
The Cotton Candy color is a vibrant, eye-catching pink and purple combination with glitter flake. This bright color provides excellent visibility in stained, murky, or dingy water, as well as during low-light periods such as early morning, late evening, or overcast days. The Cotton Candy Fat Albert Grub is particularly effective when bass are responding to bright colors or when fishing in low-visibility conditions where natural colors may not stand out. The glitter adds extra flash that helps attract bass from a distance.
Highly Versatile Fishing Applications
The Zoom Fat Albert Grub is an extremely versatile bait that can be used in many different ways. It is a favorite trailer for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and swim jigs, where its bulky body and curly tail add extra vibration and bulk. It also performs exceptionally well when rigged on a jig head for fishing around rocks, wood, and grass. Many anglers use it as a standalone bait on a Texas rig or Carolina rig, while others fish it on a shaky head or drop shot in deeper water. Its versatility makes it a great option for both shallow and deep water fishing.
Premium Soft Plastic Construction
Zoom Bait is known for producing high-quality soft plastics that combine durability with lifelike action. The Fat Albert Grub is made from a super-soft yet resilient plastic formula that provides excellent hook penetration while remaining tough enough to withstand multiple strikes. Each grub is salt-impregnated, which encourages bass to hold onto the bait longer after the initial strike, dramatically improving hook-up ratios. The consistent molding ensures reliable performance on every cast, even after repeated catches.

The Zoom Bait Fat Albert Grub Cotton Candy (Model 011-023) is a must-have soft plastic for anglers who want a bulky, high-action grub with maximum visibility. While many grubs are small and subtle, the Fat Albert’s oversized body and large curly tail create a much more aggressive presentation that can trigger strikes from bigger bass. The bright Cotton Candy color excels in stained or murky water and during low-light conditions where natural colors may not be visible. Whether you’re using it as a spinnerbait trailer, fishing it on a jig head around cover, or rigging it Texas style, this grub delivers consistent results. Its durable construction and salt-impregnated formula make it tough enough to handle multiple fish while still providing excellent action. The 10-count bag offers solid value for anglers who rely on this bait throughout the season.
A Bulky Grub That Gets Results in Tough Conditions
The Fat Albert Grub was designed to give anglers a bigger, more aggressive option compared to standard grubs. Its thick body and powerful tail create vibration and movement that bass can detect from a distance, while the bright Cotton Candy color helps it stand out in challenging water conditions.
