Zoom Bait Fluke 4" Watermelon Seed | Model 015-019
The Zoom Bait Fluke 4 inch Watermelon Seed (Model 015-019) is a legendary soft plastic jerkbait that has been a staple in bass fishing for decades. This 4-inch bait is designed to mimic a fleeing baitfish with its unique darting and gliding action when twitched. Each pack contains 10 high-quality Flukes in the classic Watermelon Seed color, making it an outstanding value for serious anglers. The Zoom Fluke is renowned for its versatility and ability to produce explosive strikes in a wide range of conditions and water depths.
Proven Watermelon Seed Color
The Watermelon Seed color is one of the most effective and versatile colors in the Zoom lineup. It features a natural green pumpkin base with black flake that provides excellent realism and contrast. This color closely mimics common baitfish and performs exceptionally well in clear to moderately stained water. The subtle black flake adds just the right amount of flash to attract attention without being overly bright, making the Watermelon Seed Fluke a reliable choice throughout the year in lakes, rivers, and reservoirs across the country.
Signature Darting Action
What sets the Zoom Fluke apart from other soft plastics is its ability to dart erratically from side to side when twitched with a rod. This realistic fleeing baitfish action triggers aggressive reaction strikes from bass. When fished with a series of sharp twitches and pauses, the Fluke glides and darts in an unpredictable manner that bass find irresistible. The bait can also be fished with a steady retrieve or used to “walk the dog” on the surface, giving anglers multiple effective presentations with a single bait.
Highly Versatile Fishing Applications
The Zoom Fluke 4" is an extremely versatile bait that can be fished using many different techniques. It excels as a topwater walking bait, a subsurface twitching bait, and a finesse presentation when rigged on a jig head or weighted hook. Many anglers also use it as a trailer on spinnerbaits or buzzbaits to add extra action. The 4-inch size is ideal for targeting both largemouth and smallmouth bass in a variety of environments, from shallow grass flats to deep structure.
Premium Soft Plastic Construction
Zoom Bait is known for producing high-quality soft plastics that combine durability with lifelike action. The Fluke is made from a super-soft yet resilient plastic formula that provides excellent hook penetration while remaining tough enough to withstand multiple strikes. Each bait is salt-impregnated, which encourages bass to hold onto the lure longer after the initial strike, dramatically improving hook-up ratios. The consistent molding ensures reliable performance on every cast.
