Why Choose the Zoom Fluke Stick in Watermelon Seed?

The Watermelon Seed color is one of the most trusted and productive colors in bass fishing. It provides a natural, low-flash presentation that closely mimics many common forage options, making it highly effective in clear water and on heavily pressured lakes. The Fluke Stick’s unique design allows it to be fished with a subtle side-to-side glide when retrieved with a weightless Texas rig or wacky style, triggering strikes from bass that ignore more aggressive baits.

Zoom’s soft plastic formula ensures the bait maintains its natural action while remaining durable enough for multiple fish. The salt content helps the lure sink slowly and naturally, giving it a realistic presentation that bass find hard to resist.

Best Rigging Techniques for the Zoom Fluke Stick

• Weightless Texas Rig: Excellent for fishing around grass, docks, and shallow cover
• Wacky Rig: Highly effective for a subtle, horizontal presentation
• Neko Rig: Provides a natural fall and quivering action
• Drop Shot: Works well in deeper water for a finesse approach
• Shaky Head: Can be used when a slender profile is needed
• Carolina Rig: Effective for covering water in moderate depths

Ideal Conditions & Applications

It is particularly effective during the spring and fall, as well as in summer when bass are feeding on smaller baitfish or insects. This bait shines on pressured fisheries where a natural, subtle presentation is required to trigger strikes. The 6.25-inch size offers a good balance between finesse and bulk, making it versatile enough for a wide range of fishing situations.
