Zoom Bait Mag II 9" Worm Plum | Model 009-004

The Zoom Bait Mag II 9 inch Worm Plum (Model 009-004) is a large, heavy-duty soft plastic worm designed specifically for anglers targeting big bass. This oversized 9-inch worm offers increased bulk, durability, and action compared to standard worms, making it an excellent choice for flipping, pitching, Carolina rigging, and Texas rigging in heavy cover. Each bag contains 20 high-quality worms in the natural Plum color, providing excellent value for serious bass fishermen. With its UPC 751981009048, the Zoom Mag II has become a trusted tool for anglers looking to catch larger fish in both clear and stained water conditions.

Oversized 9-Inch Design for Trophy Bass

The Mag II is Zoom’s larger version of their popular worm lineup. At 9 inches long, it provides significantly more profile and bulk than standard 6-inch or 7-inch worms. This increased size makes it ideal for targeting bigger largemouth bass that prefer larger meals. The thicker body also gives the worm better durability when fishing around heavy cover such as wood, rocks, and thick vegetation, where big bass often hide.

Natural Plum Color

The Plum color is a dark, translucent purple shade that offers a natural appearance in a variety of water conditions. It performs especially well in clear to lightly stained water, where bass can easily see the realistic profile. The subtle color and soft plastic construction allow the worm to have a natural fall and movement that closely mimics real prey, making it highly effective when bass are feeding on larger baitfish or when fishing in pressured waters.

Versatile Rigging Options

The Zoom Mag II 9" Worm is extremely versatile and can be fished using several proven techniques. It excels when Texas rigged for flipping and pitching into heavy cover, Carolina rigged for covering water, or rigged on a large shaky head. Many anglers also use it as a trailer on big swimbaits or as a standalone worm for deep structure fishing. Its large size and durable construction make it suitable for both heavy cover and open water situations.

Premium Soft Plastic Construction

Zoom Bait is renowned for producing high-quality soft plastics that combine durability with lifelike action. The Mag II is made from a super-soft yet resilient plastic formula that provides excellent hook penetration while remaining tough enough to withstand multiple strikes and abuse from big bass. Each worm is salt-impregnated, which encourages bass to hold onto the bait longer after the initial strike, dramatically improving hook-up ratios.
