The Zoom Bait Split Tail Trailer White (Model 008-040) is a classic and highly effective soft plastic trailer designed to add life and attraction to a wide variety of bass fishing lures. Featuring a proven split tail design, this trailer creates a natural fluttering and swimming action that bass find irresistible. Each bag contains 20 high-quality trailers in a clean, bright White color, making it an essential addition to any angler’s tackle box. With its UPC 751981008409, the Zoom Split Tail Trailer has remained a staple for both tournament professionals and recreational fishermen for decades.
Proven Split Tail Design
The signature split tail of the Zoom Split Tail Trailer produces a wide, fluttering action that mimics the movement of injured baitfish or fleeing prey. As the trailer moves through the water, the two tails separate and create a realistic swimming motion that draws strikes from bass. This action is especially effective when the trailer is paired with a jig, spinnerbait, or buzzbait. The split tail design also helps the lure maintain a natural profile while adding extra vibration and visual appeal that can trigger reaction strikes from bass that might otherwise ignore a plain jig or spinnerbait.
Bright White Color for Maximum Visibility
The White color is one of the most versatile and effective colors for trailers. It provides excellent visibility in both clear and stained water, making it a great choice for low-light conditions, overcast days, or when fishing in deeper water. White trailers are particularly effective when targeting bass that are feeding on shad or other light-colored baitfish. The bright white color also creates a strong silhouette against darker backgrounds, helping bass locate the lure more easily in murky water or when fishing around heavy cover.
Versatile Trailer for Multiple Lures
The Zoom Split Tail Trailer is extremely versatile and can be used on many different types of lures. It is a favorite trailer for flipping and pitching jigs, swim jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and even chatterbaits. The compact size and split tail design allow it to move naturally without overpowering the action of the main lure. Anglers often use it to add bulk and action to smaller jigs or to create a more enticing presentation on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits during the warmer months.
Premium Soft Plastic Construction
Zoom Bait is known for producing high-quality soft plastics that combine durability with lifelike action. The Split Tail Trailer is made from a super-soft yet resilient plastic formula that provides excellent hook penetration while holding up to repeated strikes and casts. Each trailer is salt-impregnated to encourage bass to hold on longer after the initial strike, significantly improving hook-up ratios. The consistent molding ensures reliable performance on every cast.
