Zoom Bait Super Fluke 5" Rainbow Shad | Model 023-194

The Zoom Bait Super Fluke 5 inch Rainbow Shad (Model 023-194) is an oversized soft plastic jerkbait designed to deliver an aggressive darting and gliding action that triggers explosive strikes from bass. This larger 5-inch version of the legendary Zoom Fluke features a highly realistic Rainbow Shad color pattern that closely mimics the appearance of threadfin and gizzard shad. Each pack contains 10 high-quality Super Flukes, providing excellent value for anglers. With its UPC 751981144220, the Zoom Super Fluke in Rainbow Shad has become a trusted choice for fishing in clear to moderately stained water where a natural baitfish profile is needed.

Realistic Rainbow Shad Color

The Rainbow Shad color is a detailed, multi-toned pattern featuring a silver-white belly, green and blue back, and subtle scale-like flake. This color closely replicates the natural appearance of common shad species that bass feed on throughout the year. The Rainbow Shad Super Fluke performs exceptionally well in clear to moderately stained water and is especially effective when bass are actively feeding on shad. The realistic coloration provides a natural look that pressured bass are less likely to ignore, making it a reliable choice in many fisheries across the country.

Signature Darting and Gliding Action

The Super Fluke is designed to dart erratically from side to side when twitched with a rod. This realistic fleeing baitfish action triggers aggressive reaction strikes from bass. When fished with a series of sharp twitches and pauses, the Super Fluke glides and darts in an unpredictable manner that bass find irresistible. The bait can also be fished with a steady retrieve or used to “walk the dog” on the surface, giving anglers multiple effective presentations with a single lure. The larger 5-inch size creates a more pronounced action and bigger profile compared to the standard 4-inch Fluke.

Oversized Profile for Bigger Bass

Measuring a full 5 inches, the Super Fluke offers a larger profile than the original Fluke. This increased size makes it an excellent choice when bass are feeding on bigger baitfish or when a more substantial presentation is needed to attract quality fish. The bigger body and tail create more water displacement and a more noticeable presence in the water, which can be especially effective in open water or when fishing around grass lines and points.

Highly Versatile Fishing Applications

The Zoom Super Fluke 5" is extremely versatile and can be fished using many different techniques. It excels as a topwater walking bait, a subsurface twitching bait, and a finesse presentation when rigged on a jig head or weighted hook. Many anglers also use it as a trailer on spinnerbaits or buzzbaits to add extra action. The 5-inch size is ideal for targeting both largemouth and smallmouth bass in a variety of environments, from shallow grass flats to deeper open water.

Premium Soft Plastic Construction

Zoom Bait is known for producing high-quality soft plastics that combine durability with lifelike action. The Super Fluke is made from a super-soft yet resilient plastic formula that provides excellent hook penetration while remaining tough enough to withstand multiple strikes. Each bait is salt-impregnated, which encourages bass to hold onto the lure longer after the initial strike, dramatically improving hook-up ratios. The consistent molding ensures reliable performance on every cast, even after repeated catches.

Why Choose the Zoom Super Fluke 5" Rainbow Shad?

The Zoom Bait Super Fluke 5 inch Rainbow Shad (Model 023-194) is an excellent choice for anglers who want a larger, more realistic jerkbait presentation. The increased size of the Super Fluke provides a bigger profile that appeals to quality bass, while the Rainbow Shad color offers a highly detailed, natural baitfish appearance. Its unique darting action when twitched sets it apart from traditional worms and creature baits, often producing explosive strikes that other lures cannot match. Whether you’re fishing topwater around grass, twitching it subsurface near cover, or using it as a finesse bait on a jig head, the Super Fluke delivers consistent results. Its durable construction and salt-impregnated formula make it tough enough to handle multiple fish while still providing excellent action. The 10-count pack provides excellent value for anglers who rely on this proven bait throughout the season.

A Larger Version of a Legendary Bait

The Super Fluke was developed to give anglers a bigger option than the original 4-inch Fluke. The 5-inch size creates a more substantial presentation that can trigger strikes from larger bass, while the realistic Rainbow Shad color enhances its effectiveness when bass are keyed in on shad. This combination makes the Super Fluke one of the most versatile and productive jerkbaits in the Zoom lineup.
