Zoom Bait Winged Fluke 7.5" Reservoir Shad | Model 159-472

The Zoom Bait Winged Fluke 7.5 inch Reservoir Shad (Model 159-472) is a premium oversized soft plastic jerkbait engineered for anglers targeting trophy bass in reservoirs and open water. This larger version of the classic Fluke features unique side wings that dramatically enhance its gliding action and create a bigger, more lifelike profile in the water. Each pack contains 4 high-quality Winged Flukes in the realistic Reservoir Shad color, making it an excellent choice for serious big bass fishermen. With its UPC 751981199244, the Zoom Winged Fluke delivers superior performance when fished with aggressive twitching or walking-the-dog retrieves.

Realistic Reservoir Shad Color

The Reservoir Shad color is a detailed, natural baitfish pattern featuring a silver-white belly, olive-green back, and subtle dark shading. This color closely mimics the threadfin and gizzard shad commonly found in reservoirs across the country. The Reservoir Shad Winged Fluke provides excellent realism in clear to moderately stained water and performs exceptionally well when bass are actively feeding on shad. The natural coloration helps the bait blend in with the forage while still offering enough contrast to trigger strikes from selective fish.

Unique Winged Design for Superior Action

What sets the Winged Fluke apart from standard Flukes is its innovative side wings. These wings increase water resistance during the retrieve, resulting in wider, more pronounced gliding action when the bait is twitched. The wings also help the bait plane and dart more aggressively from side to side, creating an erratic, fleeing baitfish movement that triggers violent reaction strikes. This enhanced action makes the 7.5-inch Winged Fluke especially effective when fishing in open water, around grass lines, or when bass are actively chasing baitfish in reservoirs.

Oversized 7.5-Inch Profile

At 7.5 inches long, the Winged Fluke offers a significantly larger profile than traditional 4-inch or 5-inch Flukes. This increased size makes it an outstanding choice for targeting bigger largemouth and smallmouth bass that prefer larger meals. The substantial body and wide wings create more water displacement, allowing the bait to be seen and felt by bass from greater distances. This makes the Winged Fluke particularly effective when fishing in deeper reservoir water or when trying to draw strikes from fish that are holding deeper in the water column.

Highly Versatile Fishing Applications

The Zoom Winged Fluke 7.5" is extremely versatile and can be fished using multiple techniques. It excels when twitched subsurface, walked on the surface, or fished with a steady retrieve. Many anglers also rig it on a large jig head, weighted hook, or use it as a trailer on big spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. The 7.5-inch size and enhanced gliding action make it ideal for covering water quickly and locating active fish in both shallow and deep reservoir environments.

Premium Soft Plastic Construction

Zoom Bait is known for producing high-quality soft plastics that combine durability with lifelike action. The Winged Fluke is made from a super-soft yet resilient plastic formula that provides excellent hook penetration while remaining tough enough to withstand multiple strikes from big bass. Each bait is salt-impregnated, which encourages bass to hold onto the lure longer after the initial strike, dramatically improving hook-up ratios. The consistent molding ensures reliable performance on every cast.
